In light of the coronavirus situation and the State Of Emergency in Delaware County, the Franklin Free Library wil be closed until further notice.  This was a difficult decision in difficult times.

Fines will be waived while we are closed.

Even though the library is closed, we have found some ways to keep you connected with books.

Free Books

Starting Tuesday, March 17, there will be a tub of books and some plastic gloves outside the library. Feel fee to browse through the books and take one home.

Download E-Books and Magazines

You can use your library card to download e-books and magazines.  You can get the free apps Libby and Overdrive to download books, To download magazines, go to and click on the Flipster box.

Fun Sites for Kids

  •  We now have DVD’s our patrons can borrow.  You can check out three dvds at a  time.
