BANNED BOOK WEEK

Every year the American Library Association celebrates Banned Book Week.  The goal is to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of our patrons to be able to read and speak freely as guarenteed by the First Amendment.  This year, in addition to lists of banned books, we are showing a movie of a book that was banned.  The movie, Matilda, by Roald Dahl, will be shown on Saturday, September 29, at 1:00pm.
