Holiday Story Hour and Book Sale

 

Join us for our annual Holiday Story Hour on Saturday December 8 at 11:00 AM.

We  are also having a sale of gently used books On December 8 from 10:00 – 4:00 PM.  Book sale is being held in the library’s basement.

Have you wanted to learn a new language but just don’t have the time?  Four County Library System has made Transparent Language Online available to all patrons.  Go on 4cls.org or come into the Franklin Library to learn how to sign up.

NEW THINGS AT THE LIBRARY

  • Check out our new books.   Xina and Wendy are always ordering newly released books. Look for them on designated shelves!
  • Did you know we have the NY Times on our computers?
  • We have Kindles that patrons can borrow like a book. One Kindle has best selling titles and the other one has mysteries and suspense. Just ask the librarian or volunteer and they will help you.
  • Check out our periodicals for some new titles. Fast Company, GQ, Popular Science and coming soon Sports Illustrated and Sports Illustrated for kids, Ranger Rick and a few more.
  •  We now have DVD’s our patrons can borrow.  You can check out three dvds at a  time.
