CHILDREN’S EDITION

Bakers ages 8-12 are invited to bake their favorite dessert and bring it to the library for a tasting.

TIME FOR TOTS AND TODDLERS

OUR  TOTS AND TODDLERS PROGRAM IS HELD ON  TUESDAYS AT 1:15 pm.

THE PROGRAM IS GEARED TO CHILDREN 15 MONTHS TO 36 MONTHS.  THIS IS A CHANCE FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS TO SOCIALIZE.  JOIN US FOR BIG BOOKS, FINGER PLAYS AND SONGS.  ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CAREGIVER.

NEW AT THE FRANKLIN FREE LIBRARY

Have you wanted to learn a new language but just don’t have the time?  Four County Library System has made Transparent Language Online available to all patrons.  Go on 4cls.org or come into the Franklin Library to learn how to sign up.

NEW THINGS AT THE LIBRARY

  • Check out our new books.   Patti and Wendy are always ordering newly released books. Look for them on designated shelves!
  • Did you know we have the NY Times on our computers?
  • We have Kindles that patrons can borrow like a book. One Kindle has best selling titles and the other one has mysteries and suspense. Just ask the librarian or volunteer and they will help you.
  • Check out our periodicals for some new titles. Fast Company, GQ, Popular Science and coming soon Sports Illustrated and Sports Illustrated for kids, Ranger Rick and a few more.
  •  We now have DVD’s our patrons can borrow.  You can check out three dvds at a  time.
