THE SERIOUS SIDE OF FOOD
The Franklin Free Library is facilitating a Reading and Discussion group about food developed by the New York council for the Humanities. This series exposes some of the issues that lie on our plates. Texts include historical accounts, novels, and narrative nonfiction. We are very excited about this program.
We will be meeting every two weeks on Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm, starting on March 21. There are five sessions in this course. You must call to register.(607-829-2941).

- Did you know we have the NY Times on our computers?
- We have Kindles that patrons can borrow like a book. One Kindle has best selling titles and the other one has mysteries and suspense. Just ask the librarian or volunteer and they will help you.
- Check out our periodicals for some new titles. Fast Company, GQ, Popular Science and coming soon Sports Illustrated and Sports Illustrated for kids, Ranger Rick and a few more.
