VOLUNTEER

The Franklin Free Library would not be what it is without the contributions of many dedicated volunteers from our community. On Saturdays, the library is staffed entirely by volunteers! If you value the services which the library provides for you and your family, and you can give two hours per month to help, please contact Linda Burkhart at 829-2941 or 829-8559. No experience or special skills necessary!

Volunteers are also needed for occasional tasks such as raking leaves and washing windows.

DONATE

If you don't have time to volunteer, contributions of money are also needed and greatly appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible. Please send checks or money orders, payable to Franklin Free Library, to:

Franklin Free Library
334 Main Street
P.O. Box 947
Franklin, NY 13775

You can also support the library by donating books in good condition for our annual book sale. Please drop off books at the library during our regular open hours.  (No magazines, please!) If you have a large collection of books you would like to donate, and/or you need assistance bringing books in to the library, please call ahead to make sure there will be someone available who can help.

SPEAK OUT

In addition to local funding and private donations, public libraries need state and federal funding to provide great service. Please make sure your representatives in Albany and Washington know that funding for libraries is important to you!
