RAILROAD TALES & TUNES – Featuring Sandra Peevers on guitar and Erik House on fiddle & banjo.

July 6

MORELAND THE MAGICIAN – A high-energy show using comedy, magic, balloons, storytelling and puppetry to teach kids about the magic of libraries and the power of reading.

MERRY-GO-ROUND THEATRE PRESENTS: ALICE IN WONDERLAND – A fast-paced, zany adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic. Never before has Alice's harrowing journey been so much fun!

MAKE A SPLASH! STORIES & SONGS FROM THE SLOOP 'DISCOVERY' - Story Laurie takes you on an imaginary journey aboard the magical sloop 'Discovery', with stories, sea chanteys, and maritime lore from many cultures!

SHAKESPEARE FOR KIDS – Presented by Carmela Marner, Executive Director & Co-Artistic Director of the Franklin Stage Company.

STORIES & SONGS OF PUERTO RICO – A tapestry of music, tales, puppetry and more, woven together by Felix Pitre from his own experiences as an immigrant from Puerto Rico, 'La Perla de los Mares' (The Pearl of the Seas).

August 10

OPERA TALES - This entertaining program pairs familiar fairy tales with great classical music. Join John Davies and his group at the library for favorite stories, classic opera, and serious fun!

DANCING ACROSS INDIA - Classical and folk dances from India, presented by Carolyn Kay.

August 24

KIDS GOT RHYTHM! – Rebecca Harrington, Jesse Cohen, and percussionist Sadiq Abdushahid will play, sing, and tell you all about rhythm. It's fun, it's easy, and if you can count to four you can get on the floor and dance along!

ANNUAL BOOK SALE - A huge selection of books at bargain prices. All proceeds go to support our library!

August 31

JAZZBOS & JAZZ BABIES - Rachelle Garniez and Matt Munisteri play and sing forgotten gems from the Golden Age of Early Jazz and Vaudeville as well as some swingin' classics. Snap your fingers and tap your feet, get some fun out of life on the sunny side of the street! Instrumentation will feature acoustic guitar, banjo, accordion and a few surprise instruments.
