Celebrating and Honoring Children
through
Books, Song and Art
9:30 – 10:00 ~ Library is open for families to arrive for the program… you may check out books or use the computers at this time.
10:00 – 10:30 ~ As the program begins, we all gather in the Children’s section of the library. We’ll be playing instruments and singing along to a wide variety of music from around the world! We then get cozy and read wonderful, thoughtfully selected children’s books together.
10:30 – 11:00 ~ Arts and craft time! Children and their parents explore and nurture their creative sides, making use of a diverse selection of art items and ideas.
11:00 – 11:30 ~ Families can utilize the library during this time… checking out books, using the computer, or continue working on their art.
Space and
materials are limited,
so pre-registration is important,
please.
